Advertising Rates for IAD

Because of the popularity of this website and the fact that it takes a lot of time to maintain and improve the site, we are now accepting advertising.

For text links related to the visual arts and art education

The past few years, we have been swamped with requests for links on our links pages. Because of the amount of time it takes to add and then maintain links, we are now charging for text links and are offering banner ads as well.

These rates include our links section in the Art Stuff and supplies area. (Exceptions are listed under the high traffic section) Links must be placed in the proper category and relate to the visual arts or art education. We will determine if the link is arts related and can be categorized.

1 year: $25, Forever: $50.*

Text Links (High traffic pages: Non-art and art related)

6 months: $150, 1 year: $300

Rates for these high-traffic pages

All other lower-traffic pages (for non-art related sites)

Links will appear with the text, "This page sponsored by..." and follow Google requirements that don't manipulate search results. The income from this site comes primarily from Google and we don't intend on lowering our search rankings because of violating their requirements.

News Coverage

We receive many press releases and requests for posts in the IAD blog, Facebook, and Twitter pages. If your news is art related, you may submit a press release where it may or may not be covered at our discretion free of charge. To ensure that your press release will be covered, you may pay us for coverage in our Art News section.

News Article: (Approximately 500 words and one or two images): $250 with no expiration date or renewal fees. The news coverage will be archived on the site as long as this site is in existence.

In the event the link content changes from the original date of posting and permission has not been granted for the change, the link will be immediately removed and your money will not be refunded. You will be sent an e-mail about a week before the link expires and given the option of renewing for another period. It is your responsibility to notify us if a "forever" link changes. If your link is later reviewed and the link is broken, the link will be removed. We are not making any promises on link clicks or rates of conversions. Because of the popularity of the site and the fact it gets millions of visitors a year, you will certainly gain more exposure.
