Blood Sugar and Mood Chemistry Workshop, The Suppers Program
Join Dorothy Mullen and The Suppers Programs members who have learned that in order to improve mood and mental health, you'll have to normalize your blood sugar. You don't have to be diabetic or even pre-diabetic to experience the depression, anxiety, unhappiness, cravings and impulses to eat when you really don't want to.
From this one-hour workshop you will come away with a better sense of the extent to which your biology is your driver, the role of your family history and emotional triggers, the tight bond between stress and sugar, and the support that is available in our community for people who want to transition to a healthier way of living. You'll meet people who would never have believed they could crave salad and vegetables instead of cookies and chips. It's do-able.
