Artie Shaw Orchestra at Princeton High School
The Artie Shaw Orchestra will be appearing in concert on February 23 at 7:30 pm at the Princeton HS Performing Arts Center. Artie Shaw led several different big bands through the 1930’s 40’s and 50’s, always trying new music. A musical innovator and always a perfectionist, he was also an extremely talented clarinetist. Under the direction of Matt Koza the musical traditions of Artie Shaw continue today. Tickets for the event are $18 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.princetonjazz.org.
