Make summer memories! Princeton Day School offers over 150 programs in Arts, Academics, Athletics and Adventure! Choose half-day or full-day camps which run 1 to 4 weeks . Available to your children ages 3-18. Consider ceramics, lacrosse, writing, SAT prep, fencing, computers, woodworking, theater, overnight and day adventures and SO MUCH MORE! Princeton Day School’s 105-acre campus offers fantastic facilities including computer labs, art rooms, a ceramics studio, a photography lab, a wood shop, an architecture lab, science labs, a music suite that includes a computer lab, two kitchens, a 350-seat theater, three gyms, a synthetic playing field, numerous playing fields, tennis courts, fitness center and skating rink. Summer Programs’ goal is to provide children with a nurturing and stimulating environment which allows them to discover new interests, develop new talents and encourage exploration. Our programs offer opportunities for personal growth while learning and having lots of fun.

Join naturalist enthusiasts and explore the summer life of Windy Hill! Our adventures will take us around the land surrounding the school, exploring the creek, woods, and gardens. Campers will learn survivalist skills such as shelter building, water purification, and tracking animals. Campers will learn the edible and medicinal properties of local foliage. The days will include native stories, cooking over an open fire, and playing games. Campers will also make natural crafts such as dream catchers, making beeswax candles, and perform some basic whittling and wood carving. Campers should bring lunch from home; a camp provided snack will be served. July 15 - July 26, 12-3:30pm, for campers entering 4th – 7th grades. (Grades 5 - 9) Designed for the beginner to advanced in each sport, this camp offers a wide variety of activities. Each day starts a new adventure as we begin at a different location and participate in a new activity. This is an entirely off-campus program. All locations are less than 15 minutes from Princeton Academy. Campers should come each day equipped with two quarts of water, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a bagged lunch to be carried in their backpack. Campers also need to bring their own mountain bike, fishing rods, and binoculars for the respective mountain biking, fishing, and birding days. Kayaks and canoes will be rented and are included in the price of the camp. For the 2 overnights, campers need to bring a sleeping bag, tent, change of clothes, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, flashlight, toothbrush, etc. Campers will cook dinner and breakfast at the campsite. Afternoon Enrichment Session provides a variety of “hands-on,”learning programs through creative arts, math, science and engineering, athletics and more.  Our Speech and Language Enrichment Session offers a hands-on, learning experience to build functional communication skills through multisensory, multimodality learning experiences in various social settings and contexts.

The Science of Flight/Firefly Tennis and Swimming - June 18- July 2 Children will fly “high in the sky” with study of aerodynamics and flight. Afternoons will be spent learning basic skills of tennis with Firefly Tennis Program 3x per week.

Gears, Gadgets and Things that Move/Motion Gymnastics and Swimming - July 7-18 Campers will build, experiment, and evaluate scientific principles as they design and build simple machines like race cars, windmills, pulleys, cranes and simple robots built by using wood, LEGO and K’NEX. 3x per week gymnastics basics, taught by Motion Gymnastics, Pennington, NJ.

Detective Quest/Tae Kwon Do and Swimming - July 21-August 1 Learn the art of becoming a detective through fingerprint analysis, developing ciphers and cracking codes. We will also learn the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do taught by Princeton Martial Arts Center 3x per week. All session includes weekly swimming instruction
