(Coed Entering 5th - 9th) The sheer joy of running will be a central theme throughout the week. A mixture of base miles, hill repeats, and interval training will be included in the workouts. Athletes will learn different strategies in order to succeed in races. Fun activities like capture the flag will be incorporated into the training regimen. A film session/chalk talk session will study the techniques of the greatest runners in the world: the Kenyans and the Tarahumara Indians. A current marathoner who qualified for the Boston Marathon will be a motivational speaker. Finally, the runners will begin to keep a running journal and start the summer-long "100 mile club."

Since the 1990's, Princeton University has hosted about 70 camps and clinics. All camps are held on the beautiful and historic Princeton University campus. Overnight campers reside in the University dormitories and take meals in the dining facilities. Each camp is directed by the Princeton University Varsity Coaches, with assistance from college coaches and players from around the country. Currently, we offer these camps: Baseball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Fencing, Field Hockey, Football, Boys Ice Hockey, Co-Ed Ice Hockey, Girls Ice Hockey, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Rowing, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Water Polo, Boys Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, and Wrestling.
